Sweet was founded in Gorizia in 1994 by Fabrizio Manganelli, whose family had already been actively involved in the production of confectionary (in particular sweets and nougat) for many decades. Over the years the company has become one of the world's leading producers of chocolate surprise eggs. The company is recognised for its distinctively designed double chocolate eggs, featuring a white chocolate shell with a large milk chocolate circular design on both sides. The production plant is based in Gorizia and has an overall production capacity of 600.000 eggs per day.




Quality and certification

Sweet boasts an extremely high level of competence in the field of chocolate processing: the chocolate eggs are created using a revolutionary pressing technique quite unlike conventional moulding. A clear focus on technical innovation and an extremely careful selection of raw materials and suppliers mean that the highest standards are always maintained. The inclusion of Sweet's products in leading international supermarket chains is ensured by the company's quality certifications. In fact it is certified at the "Highest Grade" by BRC (British Retail Consortium) and by IFS (International Food Standard).
